Crows player, Rory Sloane will be teaming up with Themis Chryssidis from Sprout for a special FREE school holidays cooking demo with thanks to U-Install-It Kitchens on Thursday 19 January! Themis will be cooking a nutrient packed summer dish and chatting to Rory about what he cooks at home and the foods he eats to prepare before a big game . After the FREE demo, there will be a signing session and an opportunity to meet Rory and ask your own questions.

CELEBRATING 148 YEARS OF PEOPLE AND PRODUCE
On Saturday, 23rd January 1869 at 3.15am a group of market gardeners made their way from the East End to the site between Gouger and Grote Street to sell their produce in an area without any structure other than a fence & a couple of gas lights. Over 500 people attended and all stock was sold out by 6am. And the rest, as they say is history...
Join us in celebrating this milestone on Saturday 28 January 2017 from 9am - 1pm with free cooking demonstrations, stall specials, balloon giveaway, face painting, kids zone, live music and more!

INTRODUCING NEW PARENTS ROOM & ACCESSIBLE TOILET!
The Market's brand new accessible toilet and parents room is now open! The design of the facilities are a result of a public consultation process with the Adelaide City Council’s Access and Inclusion Advisory Panel and the Market community.
The accessible facility is compliant above the Australian Standard and includes features such as a shower and adult change table, the only one of its kind in the Western quarter of the CBD. The new parents room provides a light, bright and private area for parents, making shopping with the littlest members of the family a whole lot easier!
The brand new facilities are located adjacent to the Gouger Street dining area.
