Rhydian Roberts to play Blaenavon Workman’s Hall
Double platinum-selling classical singer Rhydian Roberts will play the Blaenavon Workman’s Hall on Saturday 11 March 2016 after he shot to fame on ITV’s X Factor and working with some of the biggest names in the music industry.
It is Rhydian’s second time performing in Blaenavon – he previously played to sell-out crowds at the Blaenavon Ironworks in 2010 to mark the centenary of the Blaenavon Male Voice Choir, who will be supporting him again for the evening.
Rhydian said: “I had a fantastic time the last time I came to Blaenavon and everyone made me feel so welcome.  I will be singing some of my latest songs from my new album and putting my own spin on some well-loved classics, so there will be something for everyone to enjoy.”
Doors open from 7pm and tickets can be booked at www.ticketsource.co.uk/blaenavonworkmenshall or directly Blaenavon Workman’s Hall on 01495 792661.

Jethro beguiles and befuddles his audience with the endless stream of irreverent twaddle that has created a comedy genius.
Doors open from 7pm and tickets can be booked at www.ticketsource.co.uk/blaenavonworkmenshall or directly Blaenavon Workman’s Hall on 01495 792661.

Torfaen council has received initial National Lottery funding support of £35,500 from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) for a project to tackle the poor condition of key properties within the town’s main commercial area in Broad Street by offering grant support for conservation based works.
As well as supporting property improvements, the local community will have the chance to get involved in a variety of exciting local volunteer opportunities and community events that explore the rich social history associated with the development of the town.
