NCVRC NEWSLETTER

July 2018

We have a full calendar of groups, social activities and events taking place at NCVRC in August! Stay tuned as we continue to add fun and exciting opportunities for people in recovery as well as programs and services that truly make a difference for individuals, families and the community!

We have recently added more hours and more offerings! We are now open 9 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday, 10 am to 4 pm on Saturdays and 11 am to 4 pm on Sundays.

New offerings include an additional Refuge Recovery group on Mondays at 6:15 PM, a new Steps to Food Freedom (Overeaters Anonymous) group on Saturdays at 10 AM, Matinee Movies at 1:30 on Sundays, and a variety of health and wellness programs, some of which are described below!

Stay tuned for more opportunities on the way!

Did you hear? NCVRC is looking to hire an Operations Assistant! The primary responsibility of the operations assistant will be managing our amazing team of volunteers and ambassadors, but will have many other exciting opportunities and responsibilities! Find more information about this opening here!

We have a regular column in News & Citizen that reaches more than 10,000 households throughout Lamoille County and beyond. Through Recovery Corner we share information about NCVRC, who we are, what we do, and how we help people, but we also hope to educate people about addiction and recovery. You can read our latest article here

We are so grateful to the United Way of Lamoille County for their generous contribution of $5,000, which will help fund North Central Vermont Recovery Center's Recovery Coaching Program, which is growing rapidly and helping to save and transform lives every day!

NCVRC is seeking volunteers and recovery coaches to be an important part of the work we do as Lamoille County's recovery center.

Recovery for Recovery

Reiki is an excellent tool to aid the process of recovery! Reiki can help ease the discomfort of the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual symptoms experienced in early recovery. Addiction affects all of us; whether it’s ourselves, our friends and families, or the whole community.
Please join us for a day of Reiki—free and open to the public.
Donations appreciated (but not necessary) and go to support your local Recovery Center!
