In aid of Mind…for better mental health NEVILLE STAPLE is here on the 20th of January! Supported by FLIPRON & special guests this is set to be a fab night and with tickets on salenow for just £15 it would be rude not to grab one!
Dove Studios, in Butleigh, home to artist Bronwen Bradshaw, is bringing a Christmas Exhibition to the Redbrick Building this month, which will run until January.
Free to view and open daily from 10am.
Last month we had an after carnival party here at the RBB & Bocabar which was hosted by Lime of Your Life.
This was a fundraiser night for The refugee kitchen in Calais...this was a HUGE success and a SELL OUT night which rised over £2000!

Part of our on going work here at the RBB is to always keep improving...this week Rob and our fab volunteer Ryan dismantled the outside terrace roof & all of the wood was recycled at The Zig Zag building next door.
A new terrace roof will be built next year...when its a bit warmer outside!

One of our Christmas wishes this year was to see if someone would give us a Christmas Tree for the building....if you want to put a smile on our faces this festive season then turning up with a tree just like this would be AMAZING!
Our volunteers are a huge reason this project works as well as it does, our wonderful reception volunteer Paul is running the Paris marathon to help us raise some much needed funds for the project. If you can help with anything at all then click the image and read Paul's story.
We were out and about in our local area again during November hunting for things to do & things to eat! Ha. With the sun shining for much of the month we had plenty of time to appreciate the beautiful colours of the trees in Autumn.
We also popped in & tried a lovely Oatmilk flat white in The Good Earth in Wells.

Our exploring went abit further last month with a trip to Berlin...grabbing inspiration for the project, our promotions and our next phase, Building C. Hoping to bring some of the Berlin urban vibe to the RBB soon!
Over the past month we have been getting crafty leading up to Christmas and we held our RBB wreath making workshop with mulled wine & mince pies on the 23rd...the workshop was a huge success & we made some fabulous wreaths.
We’re delighted thatCosmic have been running a series of FREE workshops at the Red Brick Building this Autumn.
All held between 9.15am-12.30pm and the last one for this year is on the 12th Book below....

The Youth club...getting into the festive spirit!
Last week the members got into the festive spirit & decorating the club! They also got involved with the Lego#BuildToGivecampaign! Lego will gift🎁a Lego set to a local children’s hospital when we share our creations!👍👍👍
Last week the club had some team games and we covered the topic of sexting. In the photos you will see balls of wool being passed around to make a web, this was to signify how easy images can be passed around social media. Members then had to try and unravel the wool, which was a tricky task.
Members downloaded the Childline app Zipit which gives them a bank of funny come backs to any sext received or requested. It also has direct links to Childline and support if needed. This week was a great success.
