UWSP NADF has a surplus of feed trained walleye fingerlings leftover from a project. These are available for $0.50/fish to registered Wisconsin fish farmers looking to raise them in aquaponics or in a recirculating aquaculture system. Pellet trained walleye or saugeye are in high demand and are not available anywhere else in Wisconsin. If you have the set up, they would be a unique, native fish to raise. They are growing at a rate of 2 grams per day in 23C water in our recirculation system. Currently they are averaging 7” in length, 60 grams in weight and have been fish health certified.
