Do you need to upgrade or redo your website? Have you heard of the Trading Online Voucher grant towards enhancing your business website?
ARE YOU ELIGIBLE?
If your business has been trading for at least 12 months and has less than 10 employees, then it can avail of a Trading Online Voucher from Local Enterprise Office Kildare.
The Voucher is a grant worth up to €2,500, or 50% of eligible spend, to improve your existing website in order to drive sales and / or sell online. LEO Kildare has approved over 200 funding applications since the scheme started in late 2014.
HOW TO APPLY?
Before you can apply you will need to attend one of our Trading Online Seminars.
The next seminar will be on Tuesday 6th of February in Aras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas County Kildare from 6.30-8.30pm and attendance is free.
The purpose of the seminar is to help participants to determine the best approach to establish and increase their online presence and trade online as well as providing top tips on how to apply and be successful.
The voucher can be used for the development or upgrade of an e-commerce website, i.e. online payments or booking systems, IT training, SEO, videos, photographs as well as many other uses.
UPCOMING DEADLINES:
The next deadline for applications for a Trading Online Voucher is Wednesday 28th February so start preparing now!

SUCCESS OF TOVS:
Small businesses that adopt trading online for their business are seeing big results. A national survey of over 800 businesses that used the Trading Online Voucher grant (up to €2,500) to improve their website found that:
Sales increased by an average of 21%
84% saw an increase in customer enquiries
73% said new business was additional and did not displace existing sales
They expected to recruit on average 1.4 more employees
3 out of 5 begin to export
89% said the trading online component of their business will become more important in the next six months.

Local Enterprise Office invites entries for the 2018 National Enterprise Awards!
The competition is open to businesses that have received grant support from the former CEBs or the LEO.Eligible businesses will employ 10 or less staff and previous county winners may re-enter.
Expressions of Interest must be received by 8th February 2018 in order to progress in the compeition.
LEO welcome expressions of interest for funding applications from early stage businesses trading <18months and more established businesses working towards job creation and export ambitions.
