Hello! from the Healthwatch Wandsworth Team

As it's the start of the year, we thought it might be nice to introduce ourselves properly. So hello from all of us! Now that you know who we are (or at least what we look like), we hope you'll feel comfortable enough to tell us exactly what you think

about any aspect of our local health and social care services. We look forward to hearing from you!
You can find out more about our work on the 'What We Do' page of our website.

Take Our Annual Survey

We use our Annual Survey to gather feedback from local users about Wandsworth's health and social care services. Your feedback is important and could contribute to future service improvements.

We also use what you say to find out what's important to you when it comes to local health services and we prioritise our work accordingly. Most importantly, we feed your views back to service providers.

The survey takes less than 10 minutes to complete and all responses will be kept confidential, but if you would like to be entered into our Prize Draw to win gift vouchers, enter your contact details in the space at the end of the survey.

Urgent Care Consultation
The NHS would like to better direct people to the right advice, treatment and care in non-emergency situations. Would you know where to go for urgent, but non-emergency advice or treatment. There's still time to share your views via our Urgent Care Survey.

Do you have any experience of using Ear, Nose & Throat Services in south west London?

If yes, South West London NHS would like to hear from you!

They will be running a workshop on Thursday 1st March at St George's Hospital to look at how ENT services currently work, and how they could potentially be delivered differently.

Can you Help to Shape Wandsworth Adult Social Services?

Wandsworth Council wants to make sure that people using adult social services have a voice in local service delivery and are able to help shape specific projects the department might be working on. With this in mind, they are setting up a co-production group for users and carers.

An initial information event will be held on Wednesday 28 February at Wandsworth Town Hall. Group meetings will begin in early June 2018 and will be held quarterly thereafter.

Chatty Cafés

Putney Wellbeing Friends are supporting a brilliant new scheme, Chatty Cafés, with the aim to reduce loneliness and get people talking. Cafés are encouraged to have a designated 'Chatter & Natter' table, where customers can sit if they would like to talk to other customers.
