How are you doing? We hope you are taking some time to enjoy the warming weather away from screens.
Here at TBTR, we are delighted to announce that we received support from the Manitoba Arts Council this winter to work on the next stage of our devised project, #GladToBeHere (working title)!
Devised theatre creation involves gathering artists of different disciplines together to create a new work. Needless to say, Covid-19 and Physical Distancing put a bit of a wrench in those plans! Thankfully, technology has provided a necessary link, so we have begun the early stages of our work plan.

We have also found out we have the performance rights to a very exciting piece of theatre that we - fingers crossed - hope to produce in March 2021. Obviously, we are proceeding with caution, but would love to make some announcements on that later this summer.
Financials are obviously very tight in the arts these days. Performance arts were the first to be impacted, and we will most likely be the last to return, due to the "get a bunch of people together" nature of our work. We're also hesitant to reach out to our regular sponsors at this time, as local businesses are being so tragically impacted.
We encourage you to shop local and support agencies working with our community's most vulnerable citizens. And, if you are able, we would of course value any donations to our work that you might be able to provide.
