What is the MAX project?

MAX is an AMIF funded project whose aim is to change public attitudes towards migrants. The goal is to improve the public image of migrants in Europe by changing the narrative around the immigration discourse and putting on the front real stories of successful integration at the local level.

Storytelling, creation of positive messages for the media and dialogic encounters between locals and newcomers are the key figures of the project.

What are our next steps?
Workshop in Rome this autumn!
The MAX partners will have an internal workshop in Rome, from the 25th to the 27th of September. The firsts project's activities were focused on research: each partner had to gather information about migrants' integration in their country and collect best practices. In Rome, partners will have the chance to share these stories and experiences!
Don't miss the Diversity Dialogue Fora (DDFs)!
The 15 local DDFs will be a common platform for third-countries nationals, local residents, public administration, organisations involved in migrant integration, local newspapers, and other stakeholders, to work on overcoming stereotypes and misconceptions and to analyse and debate on the evidence-based findings on the positive contribution of migrants to the EU society. They will take place in 12 EU countries.
