FRIDAY 11 OCT
The new Environment Protection Amendment Act 2018 (the Act) signals an important change in how we regulate pollution, waste and contamination in Victoria. When it comes into operation in July 2020, it will be the beginning of a fairer, more proportionate era of environmental regulation for Victorian businesses.
The EPA and DELWP are leading the development of the proposed regulations and the environment reference standard (ERS), to support the new laws.
To assist business operators to learn more about the Environment Protection Authority, the new legislation, and determine how the new laws might affect you, Stacey Clark from the EPA will be available in Bairnsdale to speak with interested business operators.
You can learn more about the new laws here or call in and see Stacey at the Bairnsdale Library, 22 Service Street Bairnsdale on Friday 11 October from 9.30-4.30pm.
