Centennial Cone Park Closed for Hunting

Centennial Cone Park is closed for hunting as of December 1 through the end of January. This includes the Mayhem parking lot along US Hwy 6. Only hunters with a Jeffco Open Space permit may access the park during this time. Check the latest alerts and closure.

Know Before you Go!

Melting snow means muddy trails. Be aware that several parks and trails close when muddy to protect them from erosion and trail widening. Please sign up for alerts and check our website for closures before heading to the parks.

Camping Fee Effective in 2020

Beginning January 1, 2020, a $12 fee per site, per day, will be applied to all JCOS campgrounds. Advanced permits are required and ONLY available online here.

Reuse Your Plastic Bags

Donate your plastic grocery or newspaper bags and they will be reused as dog poo bags! Place them directly in a bag dispenser at any park kiosk or bring them to JCOS headquarters in Golden. Keep in mind, we do not accept small bags such as sandwich bags.

Conditions are variable this time of year, be prepared for anything!
