The entire Village was swept twice last week and touch-up remains. Any new leaves raked must now be placed in paper lawn bags and set out for Rumpke pick-up.
The Village of Golf Manor Police Department hosted “Shop With A K9 Cop” with area children on Saturday, December 21, 2019.
Several children from Golf Manor, who attend Pleasant Ridge Montessori school, were treated to select clothing and toys from nearby Oakley Meijer and Fairfax Walmart stores. Funds to facilitate this event were graciously donated by the retailers and donations from The Matt Haverkamp Foundation.
Golf Manor Police Sergeant Ryland Reed stated, “This is a great opportunity for the GMPD to provide support for local families in need in our community and our department eagerly participates in the event.”
The Matt Haverkamp Foundation was established in 2005 in remembrance of Matt Haverkamp, a former Golf Manor K9 officer. The foundation works to fund and place K9 partners providing over 57 throughout various Greater Cincinnati law enforcement agencies.
In Golf Manor, K9 Chief was provided by the Haverkamp Foundation and is partnered with his handler Lt. Mike Forrest.
