Vienna Cow Save report from their vigil for the carp at the fish market on January 9: "We are here for the cows. We are here for the fish. We are here for the pigs, the chickens, the goats, the sheep, the horses. In fur, organic, or factory farms, in circuses, in the cities, in laboratories, in zoos, in aquariums, or at live markets. Spalding Animal Save held a Remembrance and 3-year Anniversary vigil on January 10 outside the Woodhead Bros. slaughter plant. They connected with this individual: "A beautiful young girl today, someone who would have otherwise gone to slaughter unnoticed. She was so gentle and quiet, yet aware that something was not right. She was innocent, she had done nothing wrong, she was still a baby, about 6 months old. Today was this girl's day to die. Please do not pay into this barbaric Industry."

COLOMBIA
Animal rights activists in Colombia have been busy!

|
Medellín Animal Save bore witness to the pigs arriving at the slaughter plant. They report: "This is a farewell that should never have happened - hundreds of lives reduced to objects, unnecessarily. Their eyes told us of pain, atrocious suffering, terror and fear, extreme fatigue, resignation in front of a world that only beat them since they were born. We were witnesses and we will continue to be. Go vegan for the animals today and fight for their rights!"
