Thank you for your offer to help with the admin of the ThameTrees project from 21st Century Thame.
Over the past couple of months the small team have been busy having meetings with sponsors, chats with individuals, chats with experts, chats with council, have set up mailing lists, put some processes in place.
Now we have mini project that needs some help :
Volunteer Fair : Saturday 15th February 12noon to 4pm.
A number of local groups will be showing what they do and trying to entice people to join them as volunteers. 21st Century Thame will be one of the groups and we'll have a few stations as, on top of the ThameTrees project, we're involved in Thame Carnival, Thame Art Crawl, Thame Tidy, Thame Equipment Bank to name but a few !
The ThameTrees project will be providing some trees to Thame residents.
The tasks we need help with for this are :
a. Be at the volunteer fair to help hand out free trees and note down where they will be planted
b. Help spread the word about the Volunteer Fair for people to obtain trees or to peruse the opportunities for volunteering
