UNITY

A F T E R L I F E  U N I T Y
Easily one of our favourite labels in recent years goes bang and delivers a massive compilation of epic proportions. Sometimes they say less is more but that theory is proven wrong on this occasion. Jam-packed, the correct term to use this time around as we explore 31 tracks of pure melodic heaven handpicked and mixed in a further 2 part non-stop journey from Tales Of Us. All the tracks you’ve been loving in recent months from all the big acts that have been blowing up the obvious stages that we’ve been watching on the www, some new faces and some of the label’s stars including Artbat and Mind Against. As we explore deeper into the package, its the lesser-known artists that really start to hijack the ride and rightly so as Afterlife’s talent scouting team are once again on point delivering another huge package of listening magic. DRW 10/10

SUPER FLU
J E T E N D R A
The latest offering and prestigious #60 on Monaberry is served up hot by the label honchos SUPER FLU. JETENDRA ever so carefully opens the door to a never before seen dimension, with spheres full of rhythmic energy, lightly dosed solar-wind essences and dancing synthesizer leads in true Super Flu fashion. Flip the german craft over to the AA and SPACEHIP melts the unique character sound of Super Flu with an inspiring feeling of an unexpected mescaline rush experience. A state that not only drives the body and mind to higher places but also creates an inner peace that can only be achieved by lovers of melodic music of the electronic kind. The ever productive duo can do no wrong as we give the thumbs up to another strong EP some of Germany’s best. DRW 6*
SKRILLEX  REVEALS  NEW ALBUM IS ALMOST READY
Skrillex has revealed that his next album is almost finished. Taking to Instagram, he revealed in a story that he’s currently working on “final mixes” for the record, which would be his first since 2014’s ‘Recess’. Fans have waited a number of years for a new full-length project from Sonny Moore, and his social media post has further hinted that we may be getting more than one album from him this year, describing the almost finished project as “this first album”. Referencing the COVID-19 pandemic, he added: “My biggest roadblock due to all this has definitely been postponing some music video shoots. But I’m feeling a bit heavy about all these people without jobs right now.” It’s not yet known when the album might be released with the coronavirus crisis potentially placing significant strains on plans.
