THE SAVE MOVEMENT AROUND THE WORLD
May 12, 2019.

IN THIS ISSUE:
Save continues to grow all over the world! We now have 663 Animal Save groups in 71 countries listed on our website. We also have 107 Climate Save groups in 38 countries and 29 Health Save groups in 19 countries.
Health Save Movement

Health Save Movement aims to show how veganism can prevent and reverse diseases related to animal products consumption, enhance food justice, and decrease spending on the health crisis.
Health Save Movement's Vegan Ramadan
Peace 🙏
Ramadan is a good time for moving towards a more conscious and positive lifestyle - to quit smoking cigarettes and other habits that affect us and our surroundings with negative effects, for example. There have been cases of
people who end up in the hospital because of the habits of eating  while breaking the fast (large meals containing high fat that comes from the animal or their bodily secretions)
Is there a healthier way to fast?
More at the
event page.

Watch as Buenos Aires Health Save take to the streets to bring a message of peace and goodwill and give away clothing and good food. They do these walks as a regular program of outreach.

Salerno Health Save and Salerno Climate Save organized a beach clean-up and picnic on April 28 in Paestum, where they offered vegan food to people to show how delicious, nutritious and ethical it is.

Almost 100 donations so far. Thanks for all the kind support!!! We are at $11,506 (23%). Please donate and share the BeFairBeVEgan Toronto campaign.
Help Us Bring BeFairBeVegan to Toronto! Watch our campaign video: please go to Save's YouTube channel. Learn more, donate if you are able, and share Our GoFundMe campaign.
We have very exciting news! With your help, we can bring BeFairBeVegan to Toronto! BFBV is a high-profile advertising campaign that presents to the consuming public the end of all animal use as the prerequisite for a fair and just society. Unlike many animal advocacy campaigns, BFBV’s central message is that veganism is a matter of fundamental justice, not a matter of convenience or personal choice.
Toronto is now poised to become the
eighth city to host BeFairBeVegan’s provocative billboards, challenging both residents and summer visitors to consider the consequences of using products that involve animal exploitation. Please check out these artists impressions below of how the campaign will look. With 2019 being hailed as “the year of the vegan,” this is the perfect time to bring BeFairBeVegan’s powerful vegan message to Canada’s most populous city.

The Climate Save Movement

The Climate Save Movement is building a grassroots movement to solve the climate crisis by ending animal agriculture, reforesting the Earth and phasing out fossil fuels. Help save the planet by going vegan and becoming active. Animal agriculture is a key source of greenhouse gas emissions,
which can all be eliminated entirely. It is also the leading source of ocean dead zones, deforestation, mass species extinctions, and excessive water use. Veganism and reforestation are critical parts of climate actions and, along with eliminating fossil fuels, are our last hope against catastrophic tipping points for our climate.
The climate change crisis is upon us, and we must urgently rise to mitigate  and reverse it. The great news is that there are new Climate Save groups being formed all around the world!
Please welcome our new chapters:
Climate SAVE Atlanta GA (USA). Find them on Facebook.
Cusco Climate Save (Peru). Find them on Facebook and Instagram.

Planting Life: A Climate Save Movement Project
Planting trees is an act of defiance, and an act of resistance, in a world that values industry and construction over natural life and wild spaces. Planting trees is an act of hope - hope in a beautiful, natural future for all beings. There is an old Greek proverb that says that a society grows great when we plant trees in whose shade we know we will never sit. Planting trees is a pure act of selfless love for future inhabitants. Please take photos and video of you and your community planting trees, and share them using the hashtag #ClimateSaveLife. Your work will inspire others!
These tree-planting drones are firing ‘seed missiles’ into the ground.
If you eat animal products, you are helping to destroy the planet.
🦜Sign the petition to stop Bolsonaro destroying the Amazon Rainforest.
Climate Save Italia organizer Simone Scampoli has the right idea at this Ragusa Climate Save tree planting event on April 24: "Why trees? Because trees are so vital..." Plant trees! Hug trees!

Take Action!! Start your own Climate Save group! Visit thesavemovement.org or email us at climatesaveinfo@gmail.com to get started.

Please help by signing our petition. Let's get to 15,000 signatures!

Veganuary is great for anyone to get started.

Donate Today!

Toronto Pig Save started in December 2010, with a promise to the pigs of doing a minimum of three vigils and vegan outreach events each week, all year round. We bear witness as a community of pigs, cows, chickens and other farmed animal victims in slaughterhouse trucks. The animals want us to be present and, with the most pleading eyes, ask for our help when we see them through the portholes of transport trucks. Just as if we were in those horrid trucks, we would want the whole community to be there fighting for our freedom, liberation, rights, and equality. In a way, we are there. All life is one and, “when (wo)men wish to harm others, they really do evil to themselves,” Leo Tolstoy said in his animal rights story “Esarhaddon, King of Assyria”. It’s our positive duty and obligation to act in the present to try to stop the most egregious injustices before us.

"When the suffering of another creature causes you to feel pain, do not submit to the initial desire to flee from the suffering one, but on the contrary, come closer, as close as you can to her who suffers, and try to help her.” – Leo Tolstoy

In 8 years, The Save Movement has grown to over 660 Save groups in 71 countries around the world. Our dream is to have regular vigils at every slaughter plant worldwide. We regularly give seed money to new Save groups and require funds for literature, posters, subway ad campaigns (iVegan.ca) and vegan outreach events.

Make animal liberation your priority in life! Think of 10 kind things you can do each day and encourage your friends to do the same! Join us and participate in our weekly vigils, start a Save group in your community, and be a regular donor.
