Celebrating the Visual Arts


Visual arts are an important part of the LJCDS experience, from the youngest Torreys through Grade 12. This year, the annual All-School Art Exhibition returned; students won awards in countywide art competitions; artworks from Upper School students were selected for a prestigious art exhibition; and artist-in-residence Jesse Colin Jackson engaged all divisions with his interactive Marching Cubes installation.

Student-Athletes of the Year 


The athletic program provides Torreys with an opportunity to combine intellectual achievement with physical excellence. Of the hundreds of eligible student-athletes, Tara Jessen ’22 was named the Coastal Conference Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year, and for the second year in a row, Johnny Luetzow ’22 was named the Coastal League Baseball Player of the Year.​
