Walgett Outdoor Markets are hosting one of our fabulous “Pop up” style markets - the first in over 12months in Apex Park between 2:30pm-7pm Saturday 3rd September 2022. This will coincide with the end of the NAIDOC Day Awards Ceremony and Lunch. We are hoping people will take advantage of this combination of events and the extra people that it will draw from surrounding communities to increase our market attendance and as such have moved our market from the morning to an arvo/evening market, with plenty of live entertainment, food vendors & stall holders. While the Theme is Father’s Day we are encouraging a varied mix of stalls to suit the entire family!
We wanted to reach out to our Community Groups, Event & Sporting Committees, Organisations and or Services to showcase their upcoming activities or events, welcome new members, promote programs and services and generally spread the word by having a stall.
If you would like to be a part of this amazing market please flick us an inbox with your application details for your stall (names and items you will sell/promote on market day) and also a few photos for promotion if available.
All sites are FREE there isn’t a limit on size and we have a large area with street access, grass sites or sealed sites. If you require power please let us know asap as these sites are limited however you’re more than welcome to run generators etc. if required
There will be live music to enjoy, a great way to spend Father’s Day Eve relaxing in the park on a beautiful spring afternoon, pick up any last minute gifts for Dad while you’re at it!

The Kidney Kar Rally is coming to Walgett! The Kidney Kar Rally is a thrilling event, all for a great cause.
You don't want to miss when they hit Walgett on August 17th. These ralliers are raising vital funds for the Kidney Kids and Youth programs, changing the lives of children and young people affected by kidney disease.
Show your support by donating via https://fundraise.kidney.org.au/.../kidney-kar-rally/donate. On average, an average of 63 people in Australia die with kidney related disease every day, so this is a cause worth digging deep for.
