The Well of Horniness
by Holly Hughes and directed by RJ Hodde
Performances running 9/30 - 10/2 at the Wells-Metz Theatre

Summer is over but you can still camp! Escape isolation to the Sapphic soap opera the patriarchy doesn’t want you to see. Equal parts film noir, postmodern romp, and low-brow glee, The Well of Horniness is a camp-fueled cliffhanger featuring libidinous lesbians, licentious ladies, and mysterious men (the mystery? they’re actually women!) in a whodunnit case you won’t even WANT to solve! Written by performance artist Holly Hughes for fellow conspirators at WOW Café, this raucous and raunchy radio-play-wannabe is your entrée into avant-garde circles—if you don’t mind walking in circles. Drop your inhibitions and strap on your seatbelt for plot twists, sound effects, and shag-carpet jokes! Join us for this Freudian slip into The Well of Horniness.
