It's all happening this weekend! I'm making last minute preparations before we drive out to Riverside with our trailer, so I thought I'd send one last e-mail to those of you attending any of the reunion events this weekend. If you're not attending Saturday night but will be at any of the other events we have planned, simply catch up by reading the group email I sent out ten days ago here.
Ticket sales have ended... here's the final RSVP list for the Saturday event.
For those of you attending the Saturday main reunion event, here are some important details:

- 4:00 - 5:30 Check-in, happy hour
- 5:30 - 5:45 Group photo outside
- 5:45 - 6:30 Dinner
- 6:30 - 7:15 Program - door prizes, recognition of alumni present, remembrance of deceased alumni
- 7:15 - 9:00 Continue conversations
- 9:00 PM Reunion ends
Check-in and Badges
When you arrive at the check-in table, please have your proof of COVID-19 vaccination or proof of negative COVID-19 test (either an antigen test or a nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT)) available for review by the helpers at the table. They will also take your temperature with a non-contact infrared thermometer, and we'll have some disposable face masks available.
Everyone who preregistered gets a badge with your 70s vintage photo on it, both for you and your guest. If you already paid, just pick up the envelope with your name on it from the table (along with badge holders) and take one copy of the printed memory/address book. If you still need to pay, we'll take care of that at check-in. And if you have a last minute change of heart and would like to attend but you didn't RSVP, show up and we'll sell you a ticket if we have any last minute cancellations or if you're willing to forego dinner.
If I gave you your photo badges at an earlier event that weekend, be sure to hang onto it - that's your meal ticket for the Saturday evening reunion. When you've attended your final event for the weekend (either the main Saturday event or the Sunday picnic at Fairmount Park), please return the plastic badge holder, but feel free to keep the paper badge as a memento if you like.
Mementos
Do you have any mementos from our days at Ramona? I'll bring my collection of yearbooks, a couple of RamPage newspapers from our senior year, two Echo literary magazines, a blow-up of the senior photo on the bleachers with names, a memorial for those alumni who have died, stuff from previous reunions, and other things.
Anything is fair game - Letterman's jackets, cheerleader outfits, programs, scrapbooks, photos, buttons, you name it. We'll have a display area where you can put things and take them when the reunion is over. Ask at check-in where you can put your stuff.
Cameras
We have a photographer who will be taking candid shots throughout the evening, but feel free to take photos of your own throughout the evening. I'll provide a link after the reunion by which you can upload your photos for consideration for inclusion in the photo memory book that will be distributed on CD to all attendees and those who bought the CD by itself sometime after the first of the year.
Music
We opted to not hire a band this time, but we'll be playing all of your previously requested songs throughout the evening. The volume will be set at a background level so that you both hear the music and and the people you are talking to. If you really want to dance, you can find several establishments in downtown Riverside after we end at 9:00 PM
