Bloomington Creative Glass Center Presents 12th Annual Great Glass Pumpkin Patch

Saturday October 16th from 10:00 AM- 3:00 PM

The Bloomington Creative Glass Center is pleased to announce that the Annual Great Glass Pumpkin Patch is back!

For the twelfth year in a row, the Bloomington Creative Glass Center will hold its Great Glass Pumpkin Patch on the Monroe County Courthouse Lawn. Since April, over 25 apprentices in our glass program have worked to create the over 700 blown glass pumpkins that will be displayed at the Courthouse. Pumpkins will be spread out on the southwest corner of the courthouse lawn for the public to admire and purchase. People can expect to find traditional orange and green pumpkins, as well as purple, blue, black, polkadot, swirl and more. Pumpkins range in price from $20-$200. The event is free to enter and is open to the public.

**No tickets required. Inside the pumpkin patch, social distance must be maintained and masks are required for everyone over 4 years of age.**

The money raised will go toward the organization's arts education programs.
The Bloomington Creative Glass Center is a nonprofit arts organization based in Bloomington founded by glass artist Abby Gitlitz. In creating the Glass Center, Gitlitz focused on glass arts education, offering classes to members of all ages living in south and central Indiana communities. Through these classes, students are able to learn hands-on various forms of glass arts, further enriching the arts culture of these communities.
