COP26 - We will be there!
The UK in partnership with Italy will be hosting soon the COP26 (UN Climate Change Conference) in Glasgow. Several events will be taking place for two weeks, starting on the 31st of October to the 12th of November.

We are excited to announce that Veltha will also be a part of the change. On the 6th of November 2021 from 17:00 to 17:30 CET, Veltha will partner up with three EU-based initiatives to host the following event: Between Adaptation and Mitigation: the Role of Circular Economy in tackling Climate Change.

The three initiatives: REPLACE, DigiPrime and the PolicyLab have partnered together to emphasize the key role circular economy can play in fighting climate change and the current actions that are being deployed to pursue this goal.

Loops 2.0: Episode #2

Loops hits the ground running!

We are honoured to invite you all to the second episode of Loops 2.0 that will be streamed virtually on the 5th of November, 2021, at 11:00 CET.

The episode will put the sustainable future of mining in the spotlight,  and will do it thanks to the contributions of our special guests Claudio Rossi and Amal Alrish, respectively representing the Horizon 2020 projects ROBOMINERS and Dig_IT

Want to hear more about it?

Our second episode will take you to a riveting journey into the mining sector, with two projects adopting a different approach to the current challenges to pursue the same goal of achieving a more sustainable future. ROBOMINERS innovative approach combines the creation of a new mining ecosystem with novel ideas from other sectors, in particular with the inclusion of disruptive concepts from robotics. Dig_IT  project aims to develop a human-centered IoT platform. This approach follows a market need & technology offer logic aiming at covering all aspects of technical, industrial, and business requirements towards a sustainable future in mining.

LOOPS 2.0: a discussion with SEArcularMINE and RECOOPs

On the 20th of October, 2021, we had our exciting return to Loops. As we dived into the world of innovation, many interesting insights were discovered in the episode about the recovery of Critical Raw Materials. We were honoured to welcome our guests SEArcularMINE and RECOOPs to join us in the discussion and to showcase their project's work and progress. As the episode progressed you can see differences in the projects' approach but an underlying shared goal: a circular economy system. Speaking on behalf of SEArcularMINE was Dr. Andrea Cipollina who delivered an insightful presentation of his project's goals and results. On behalf of RECOOPs, Dr. Patricia Cordoba Sola explained their role in decreasing the demand for CRMs.
