San Mateo County Harbor Commissioner, Virginia Chang Kiraly, launched a campaign to get locals to write letters to the Commission.
Farmworker Advisory Committee member, and Redistricting Commissioner, Rudy Espinoza Murray, was impressed at the input from the Coastside.
Nadia Bledsoe, also a Redistricting Commissioner, lives in Moss Beach, and understands our need to have one supervisor.

PRESS RELEASE. From Montara Water and Sewer District (MWSD). This Notice provides information about proposed increases in garbage collection, recycling and disposal fees and charges for those services provided by Recology of the Coast to MWSD customers.
The District is proposing to adopt a 9.19% increase in garbage collection, recycling and disposal fees and charges to maintain quality services in our area.

Project design to replace 20 year old 10″ Ductile Iron Main Pipe between the Alves tank and the Miramontes tank.
Ductile has a 75 year life, usually. CCWD did not install the pipe, the Moonridge developer did.
CCWD will require soil analysis for hot/corrosive soils before all future CCWD construction.

There are tons of great trails along this coast. But around our office, one staff favorite is the Cowell-Purisima Trail, just south of Half Moon Bay. It’s a gentle trail that meanders along the edge of the coastal bluffs for 3.6 miles with panoramic views of the Pacific, beaches and surrounding farms. It’s a total gem.
