Highlights of the Month

Back to the pitch with the Community Sports Program

After two years of lockdowns and online sessions, our Community Sports Program (CSP) is back to the pitch this year. Watch our new video highlighting how marginalized children from Bhubaneswar have been supported through our program and what they are looking forward to in the upcoming year.

Conference on using sports for gender equality

On 22 March, we participated in a conference organized by our partner, Centre for Equity and Inclusion (CEQUIN), on gender equality through football. The conference brought together different stakeholders and provided a platform to exchange of ideas and advocate for sport for development (S4D) initiatives. Our Founder-Director Suheil F. Tandon spoke at the conference, giving a brief overview of S4D and how sports-based methodologies can be used to achieve gender equality.

#BreakTheBias with Table Tennis

Celebrating International Women’s Day 2022, Suheil F. Tandon participated in a webinar on 8 March, organized by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF). He showcased our Community Table Tennis program, funded by the ITTF Foundation, highlighting how table tennis is being used to inculcate gender sensitivity in youth.
