Personal branding, on this programme participants will learn how to develop a personal brand and position themselves appropriately in interviews and other important settings.
The programme will help participants develop confidence and self-belief. It will also enable participants to identify the path forward in their careers and gain awareness on their thought patterns.
The SFA National Small Business Awards competition is open to all companies in Ireland with up to 50 employees and there is a wide range of categories to suit all sectors – including a category for companies with under five employees and newly formed businesses.
There are no entry fees to enter any categories in these awards and all short-listed companies receive five invited places to attend the Gala Awards Ceremony which is held in the RDS in March 2021 (TBD following Covid-19). A generous prize package of €50,000 is awarded to all short-listed finalists throughout the programme with additional prizes for the overall winner. Killowen Farm Star Surprise at Great Taste Awards 2020
Wexford’s Killowen Farm has once again shone brightly and brilliantly at the awards – taking a total of 9 stars across a number of products including 2 Stars for their Wexford Blackcurrant Yogurt, 1 Star for the Blackberry and Apple 4 pack glass jar and the remaining stars were received for private label products and new products which will be launched soon.
Killowen Farm’s range of award-winning yogurt products are available to buy across Ireland in leading supermarkets including Dunnes Stores, SuperValu and Tesco, as well as in other quality independent food retailers.
The Stay and Spend Tax Credit is a new tax credit available for the years 2020 and 2021. It may be used against an Income Tax (IT) or Universal Social Charge (USC) liability in a year of assessment.

As part of the Sustaining Enterprise Fund, Enterprise Ireland will also administer a specific Sustaining Enterprise Fund for Small Enterprise of over 10 employees. This fund will provide a €25k to €50k short term working capital injection to eligible smaller companies to support business continuity and strengthen their ability to return to growth and be trading strongly in 3 years time.
Following the government’s recent #Brexit announcement the Local Enterprise Office Wexford is running a ‘Prepare Your Business for Customs’ workshop on the 16th of October, open to all businesses, across all sectors and industries.
