HOORAY for February!
(Said no one ever!)
We have to admit, February has always just been a month we "got through somehow" before we had a restaurant. Now, VALENTINES serves as our winter bump, and it's a nice little fun time in the middle of the winter doldrums. This year's doldrums are real - but the cure is to take an evening to relax with someone we love and enjoy a nice night out.
Absolutely, NOW is the time to make your Valentine's plans. As you know, we're only seating at half capacity, so this year - more than ever - we encourage you to make plans for your celebration any night that week. This year 2/14 falls on a Sunday (with the President's Day holiday the next day). We will open that day at 4:00 to get an early start, and take reservations up to 8:00. OR, consider planning your Valentine night on Friday the 12th or Saturday the 13th. We will offer our full menu in addition to Chef Fletcher's "Special Specials" all weekend.
An even better idea might be to make your Valentine's plans for Wednesday, 2/10 or Thursday, 2/11. To thank you for doing that, we will provide a complimentary bottle of wine for diners as our Pre-Valentine Event.

More information on each group can be found on our Music and Events Calendar on our website: westlawninn.com/music-events. Note that the groups will be performing all evening, so you can choose your own start and end time, and not feel like it is a "show." Upstairs diners will be able to hear but not see the music, of course, but perhaps that is a good choice for you. As you know, we never charge a cover, but we encourage you to consider leaving a cash tip for the musicians.
RESERVATIONS are a really big help to us. We have so many restrictions and other challenges now and we absolutely hate having to turn you away at the door. To make a reservation, please call 410-257-0001 or email thewestlawninn@yahoo.com. If you leave a message, we will get back to you as soon as we arrive, so don't be concerned if you don't hear from us prior to that. We check our email all day but after 3:30 calling is the best idea.
