While the impacts of the pandemic are affecting us all, the education system, children, parents, and teachers are struggling most under the weight of the “new normal.”
The EQuip to Achieve EQ and Remote Learning Summit, which will be held April 8-June 20, is a can’t-miss opportunity for those seeking strategies, information, and inspiration on everything from parenting and teaching in the digital age, to addressing social isolation through the lenses of Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)—and you don’t have to leave your house to attend.
We weren’t prepared for the impacts of COVID-19 on our education system, but this virtual event promises to bridge the gaps and equip and empower attendees with the knowledge and skills to do better in 2021 and beyond.
STRUT Learning, the Chicago-based EQ technology company that builds tools and technologies for students to improve their Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is co-hosting the event with the Illinois Digital Educators Alliance, Smart Course, and Advancing SEL, Startup Chicago, and gener8tor are community sponsors.
STRUT’s Founder and CEO, Mitch Schneider, said: “Most people are experiencing challenges right now, and the negative impact for children is compounded more than ever. However, they are not the only one’s facing challenges. The struggle is, we’re trying to find solutions in an area that we're not really great at—and that is digital learning from a whole child perspective in real-time.”
Society will only achieve EQuity through EQ, so for every paid registration the summit organizers will offer 2 FREE tickets to parents of Title I schools.
