For the last few months, we've been working on an improved People's Law School website with our friends at Tangowork. It's simplified, yet augmented. Streamlined, yet comprehensive. Expansive, yet still friendly and accessible.

Under the hood, it's a full-out overhaul, as we deploy an innovative new content delivery engine. While the world-class, free legal content will stay the same, your user experience is going to be faster, sleeker and easier to use.

We'll be cutting over to the new site in the coming weeks, at which time we intend to send Drew and Elena on East Van and East Village brewery tours, respectively (thanks for all the hard work!).

The hills are alive, with the sound of British Columbians logging on to the BC Parks website to snag camping spots for this summer.

Unfortunately, we don't have coverage on your legal rights if the reservation engine jams up when you're trying to book for August long. But we have prepared a handful of questions about fishing and taking your dog(s) out in nature. Un gros merci to Stephanie at West Coast Environmental Law for putting these together.

Your Legal Rights
When Buying a Used Car

Free webinar | March 23 | 12-1pm

As you may have heard in last week's newsletter, or seen on Twitter, we’re hosting a free webinar on Tuesday, March 23 at noon PT with lawyer Mario Garcia of Ratcliff & Company LLP and Ian Christman, Chief Legal Officer & Registrar of the Vehicle Sales Authority of British Columbia.

They’ll answer common questions about buying used cars so you can avoid, or deal with, any problems. Registration is still open!
