September saw the arrival of two new staff members in the ETP4HPC Office! Gabriella Povero is our new Office Manager. She is new to the HPC community but knows all the ins and outs of European funded projects! Sai Narasimhamurthy is our new Office expert in charge of the ETP4HPC Strategic Research Agenda. He is no newcomer to the HPC community or to ETP4HPC: for many years, he was our VP for Industry, representing Seagate in our Steering Board. Please extend a warm welcome to both of them!

Politecnico di Torino recently joined ETP4HPC as a Full member in the Research category. The Politecnico di Torino has a long-standing tradition of leadership of polytechnic culture. It is one of the most important universities in Europe for engineering and architecture studies, strongly committed to collaboration with industry. Several of its departments are involved in HPC. European Big Data Value Forum

25-27 October 2023, Valencia

EBDVF is BDVA's flagship event. ETP4HPC is contributing to session Destination Earth: Challenges in Data Streaming and Federation of Compute and Data resources (26 October 12:15). Our team in charge of the strategic technology agenda for Destination Earth report on their first findings: on the federation of compute resources, as well as on data streaming inside and across sites. 13-14 February 2024, Sassenheim (near Amsterdam)

In 2024 we'll head back to Sassenheim in the Netherlands for our yearly conference. The detailed programme will be communicated later - our programme committee is working hard on it!
