The MacBain Community Centre has a lot to offer this winter!

Whether your child is curious about coding or robotics, learning to relax and stretch through yoga, or looking for something more fast-paced, like racquetball or sportball, we have it all.

Be sure to check out our newest offering: tennis lessons at the brand-new Niagara Falls Racquet Centre at John Allan Park, 6980 Kalar Road. Thanks to an enclosed dome, you can enjoy tennis year-round! We also offer adult lessons!

Niagara Falls History Museum

Introduce your little scientists to chemistry, physics, and biology fundamentals in a safe and enjoyable environment. A variety of experiments will be conducted, covering different areas of science, to showcase the vast possibilities and encourage curiosity and questioning.

Crazy Clay Creations Workshops:

    • 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm (ages 4-7)
    • 2 pm  – 3 pm (ages 8-12)

Niagara Falls History Museum

The Niagara Falls History Museum, located at 5810 Ferry Street, is thrilled to announce the upcoming arrival of the My Story, My Tattoo exhibit from the Wellington County Museum and Archives, starting on Saturday, January 20, 2024. 

This unique exhibit will showcase 32 photographs and stories of individuals with incredible tattoos, featuring participants from all walks of life and a diverse range of ages.

Running Saturday, January 20, to Sunday, May 5.

CityView is an all-in-one community development software designed to streamline planning and building permit applications through a paperless process that enhances our customer communication and internal productivity.

Niagara Falls City Hall National Anthem Performer Search

The City is seeking talented individuals to perform the national anthem, “O Canada,” at City Council meetings in 2024. Interested singers, musicians, groups and choirs can complete an online application, including a video or audio recording of you performing the anthem to be selected. 

The application deadline is Wednesday, January 31, for Niagara Falls residents only.

Join Archives of Ontario's archivist Melissa J. Nelson for a free virtual talk on the power and potential of Black archival collections. Melissa positions these collections as tools for empowerment that allow Black record creators to reclaim the historical narrative. This talk celebrates Black record creators who documented and passed on their life stories.

Join film critic and writer Joan Nicks at the Niagara Falls History Museum for the Winter 2024 Film Series, a bi-weekly lecture and film viewing beginning Thursday, February 1.

The "Everyday Heroes" series showcases five feature films that prove the power of drama and comedy to characterize everyday heroes with a capacity to endure the chaos of modern life.
