I hope everyone has had a great month and that you are enjoying all of the fantastic programs that we have to offer. I also hope we've dodged the snow bullet this winter. Let's hope mother nature doesn't decide to throw us a curveball.
As we speed towards March, we're gearing up for our Active Living Fair, which will be held at MacBain on Tuesday, March 5, from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm, and we couldn’t be more excited. Get ready to be wowed! We have over 25 vendors lined up, each ready to share information about programs and services designed specifically for our vibrant 60-plus community. There will also be demonstrations and mini-presentations on topics such as Frauds and Scams, Dealing with Chronic Pain Management, Fire Prevention, Meals on Wheels, and Retirement Living from our friends next door at Elgin Manor.
We are also delighted to offer free hearing tests as well as free fitness testing with our very own resident fitness expert, Tom, who will recommend what classes at MacBain are right for you. Oh, and let’s not forget about the free refreshments and free tote bags. (while supplies last).
We are bursting with excitement and counting down the days until Tuesday, March 5. We hope you can join us.
Registration
This month's newsletter has a slightly different layout with regard to registering. We've made this change to save space and make it easier for readers who may not be interested in certain programs or classes to scroll past them quickly. Simply click on the graphic of the class or program you are interested in registering for. Details of dates and times and pricing will then be provided. We hope you will find this new format helpful and user-friendly. Of course, we value your input and welcome any comments or feedback you may have. Your opinions are important to us.
Registration opens on Tuesday, February 27, at 3:00 p.m.

Wow, our watercolour lesson spots are as rare as a unicorn sighting. It looks like we've got a bunch of budding Picassos and Monets among us. Our first session sold out but we are delighted to report the next session will be Monday April 8 to May 6. (registration opens Feb 27 at 3pm)
