Conference Countdown EDITION!

Greetings everyone,

We have been working very hard behind the scenes this last month to pull together the conference, the program for which is included in this eNews!  We are expecting a really great attendance as we have been working very hard to create an engaging and informative day of speakers and activities for all!
Thanks must go to all the sponsors who have contributed in one way or another.  We are very grateful for their support.

The end of October saw the retirement of our long-time trainer, Jean Martin.  Jean has been a great supporter of ASCCA for many years, working tirelessly to formulate comprehensive lesson plans to deliver to club members, initially face to face in ASCCA's Pitt St Learning Centre and over the last two and a half years via MS Teams.  Her hard work and loyalty has been second to none, and we wish her all the best in her retirement.  Thanks a million Jean, you'll be sorely missed.

We're looking forward to having many of you join us at the Conference next week.

Warm regards,
Jenny

ASCCA Zoom meeting

No Club's Forum for November

ASCCA’s November Clubs Forum via Zoom will not proceed due to the Conference being the day before!

Get Online Week

We had a great Clubs Forum for Get Online Week last month!  It was very well attended by many of our members.
This year's theme was to Try One Thing ... so we tried to set up and practice a Kahoot! Quiz for our activity over Zoom.
This was a great, fun activity to do with many of our attendees joining in, but there was only one winner, our esteemed president, Jenny!  We won't cast aspersions over her win, even though she may have had a little practice session with Alex and Tik to try it out before the day!
We also heard from our members and what they were planning for Get Online Week activities this year!
Seniors around Australia are very fortunate to have such dynamic and enthusiastic ASCCA clubs around Australia to help them embrace technology!

DCNC Event

DCNC's 2022 Charity Event was on last month, back to face to face after a few years of restrictions have finally eased.  We would like to thank them all for supporting ASSCA.

ASCCA’s Accountant, Michael Ludowici, was pleased to attend the event as the representative of ASCCA .

We thank co-host BACS & Stulz and sponsors Grovesnor, ICON, FDC, Shred-X and Eziblank so much for their generous ongoing support of ASCCA.
