CROSSROADS FOOD PANTRY HOLIDAY DONATIONS NEEDED
Crossroads Food Pantry is one of the most impactful outreach programs of the West Suffield Congregational Church. For over 10 years the pantry has been open on the 2nd Thursday of every month offering canned goods, vegetables from our local farmers, frozen meat items and more from our partners at Foodshare. In addition, we also serve as a townwide site for Foodshare’s Mobile Pantry truck that arrives every other week and distributes fresh fruit and vegetables in our parking lot to an average of 150 people per month in need of food assistance. Over the last 6 months due to supply chain issues, it has become increasingly difficult for Foodshare to find nutritious food to offer for distribution. What this means for us is to open each month we have had to supplement our pantry with items that we must purchase.

The Holidays are approaching, home heating costs and the price of grocery’s have soared. It is becoming increasingly difficult for us to meet our community’s needs. Please open your hearts and donate to Crossroads Food Pantry so we may continue to provide basic food items to our neighbor in need.

Donations can be mailed to - Crossroads Food Pantry, PO Box 26, 1408 Mountain Rd, W. Suffield, Ct. 06093. Or online at www.westsuffielducc.org, click on the Ministries tab, click on Crossroads and then the donate button.

WELCOME
We, the members of the West Suffield Congregational Church, are called by God to live as one community. We strive to love, as we are loved by God, both freely and unconditionally. We recognize, celebrate, and affirm that all persons are individuals of sacred worth. Therefore, we intentionally welcome all God’s children regardless of race, gender, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, nationality, ethnicity, marital status, physical or mental ability, political stance, or theological perspective. Each person is important to God and each person’s abilities and gifts are called forth to help build and strengthen the work of Gods’ Kingdom here, in our community and around the world. We strive with the help of the Holy Spirit to become more like Jesus in our love and support for one another, in order to oppose and overcome any injustice, oppression, and prejudice that continues in our society, our communities, and ourselves.
