Visit Lake County will gather industry leaders, partner businesses and attractions and community VIPs at the renowned Pyramid House in Wadsworth, Illinois. Our goal is to rally our local industry around the National Travel & Tourism Week theme: #TravelForward. The NTTW initiative also celebrates its 40th anniversary this year.
The Pyramid House is an unusual icon in Lake County. The true-sized pyramid replica is surrounded by a moat with enormous statues guarding it. The facility also features an Egyptian-themed banquet space, an outdoor entertainment area and a full walkable underground tomb tour showcasing the African country's themed artifacts, mummies and more.
Guests are welcome to join us from on 4:30-7 p.m. with remarks at approximately 5:30 p.m., followed by a group photo opportunity with the pyramid as a backdrop at 6 p.m. Join us for light entertainment, networking and tours. A cash bar will be available.
