New Foresight Slack

We've listened to your feedback and are excited to announce that Foresight will be transitioning into Slack as its main form of communication! We will create channels for event opportunities, resources, mentorship programs/families, optometry school presentation links, etc. so don't miss out!

T-Shirt Design Contest

Help design Foresight's new club t-shirt! Submissions are open NOW until Friday, September 8th at 11:59PM. We hope by making shirts this year, you all can wear them to Foresight events and help represent our club!

Here are the guidelines for creating your design:
  1. Limit your t-shirt design to ONE color (the shirt itself can be a different color but your design needs to be one color)
  2. “University of California Berkeley" and "Foresight Pre-Optometry Club” must be on the design
  3. No dates or years on the design
  4. Front side only! No sleeve or back designs please

While we prefer that you use CustomInk.com to create your design, feel free to use any website or program to create your shirt. If you are using a different program to create your shirt, please turn in your submission as a photoshop file, illustrator file, PDF, or high resolution JPEG file. You can submit as many designs as you'd like. If your design is selected, you will receive the t-shirt for FREE! Please submit your design(s) to Natalie, our wonderful web coordinator, at foresight.webcoordinator@gmail.com.

Once submissions are in, a form will be sent out for voting. The winner will be announced in the following newsletter and on our social media!

East Bay Center for the Blind Fundraiser

The East Bay Center for the Blind is doing sticker fundraiser to help support the work that they do during the year like provide Braille classes etc. Each sticker is $5 and is 3" by 3" in size; looks super clean and is a great way to support the blind community. If you're interested in purchasing one of these stickers for $5 (all proceeds go straight to the center), reach out to vickie_kuo@berkeley.edu and she will reach out to you to find a way to get a sticker to you!
