In this week's lesson, coach Josh goes through Boulder Triples,
his favourite protocol for building power endurance.

Boulder Triples:
  • Pick 3-5 steep boulder problems
  • 3 reps, 1 min rest between reps
  • 3-5 sets, each on a different boulder
  • 5 mins between sets
  • RPE: 9/10
Good boulder problems for Boulder Triples:
  • Longer boulder, 8-10 moves
  • No distinct crux, consistent difficulty
  • Relatively steep, with a power and strength element
  • You want to failing or almost failing on the final repetition
