Each story's ending left me wanting more, yet knowing it was the perfect place to end. Now I want to write short stories!

Now describe everything you'll need to do to prepare Thanksgiving dinner for your family. You have neither electricity nor running water (nor Safeway nor drive-through package stores nor . . . )

2. Write about your expectations for the upcoming holidays.

Analyze your expectations. Are they based on past experiences? Are there past experiences you'd like to repeat this year? Any you might want to prevent from happening again? Who's in charge?
