Today we are offering Guigal's 2019 single-vineyard Cote Roties.

These wines consistently rank among the world’s best.  Only 400 - 500 cases of each is made per vintage, and they typically disappear into collectors’ cellars.

As young wines, they exhibit rich and powerful characteristics. La Mouline may have softer tannins, La Turque more exotic spices and La Landonne more density, but when they reach 15 -25 years of age, they begin to show their full personalities.

It's full-bodied, concentrated, richly tannic and long on the finish—simply a superb wine that should be flirting with perfection when it is released in a couple of years."

(96-98) points Josh Raynolds, Vinous: "Bright, highly perfumed blueberry, black raspberry, violet and exotic spice aromas, along with a wild touch of blood orange. Juicy and lithe on the palate, offering intense red and blue fruit flavors that stain the palate while showing little in the way of excess weight. Finishes extremely long and sweet, with a building floral note, even tannins and a late jolt of five-spice powder."
